Hi guys, not understanding why my boost duty cycle is going to max dc, overshoots into fuel cut
I think u have bad PID settings. Disable it and try again.
Also have a look on the channels “boost target” and “boost dc correction”. Probably a correction increases ur target.
I think the Setup for Boost - Duty Cylce Feedback is wrong.
Should be lower DC over your Target Boost. So if you want 200kpa with 35% DC - over 200kpa the DC should lower as example 10% DC or so
U are right…this table is defenitly also wrong, but it doesnt explain the overboost and 85% boost DC.
Thanks for looking, i have boost pid disabled
Thanks, in v2 35dc would give me around 200kpa, now it overshoots like the wastegate is welded shut :), out of boost margin is always yes even, as the boost comes up and past the set point, i simply dont understand the boost control strategy i think, have gone back to v2 while i ponder this
As you can see here all the boost target corrections are set to 0, yet boost target correction is at 100
CAN u post project and a the logfile?
U get a fuelcut although u are far below target boost.
Is probably here:
set something strange?
And forget what i wrote about PID…has nothing to do with ur problem i see now.
You missunderstood kpa with kpa g
Your target is too high thats why you are out of margin (max duty) until boost cut
50kpa g of Boost is equal to 150kpa of MAP ( when baro is 100kpa)
Yes it’s hitting max pressure fuel cut of 255 kPa, I see now that the units in boost control are kPa gauge, not absolute, that will be the problem
Thanks, that will be the problem
Thanks, I missed that it’s kpag in boost control, that will be it
