Hi guys,

would it be possible for someone to explain how the boost control works in an open loop configuration please.

There is not much info on the help file at the moment of how to make this work.

Boost control in an open loop still uses the target table and target margins.

If the boost pressure is below the margin of the target, the output DC is set to max.
If the boost pressure is inside the margin of the target, the output DC is set from the base table.
If the boost pressure is above the margin of the target, the output DC is set to min.

That way, you can have a maximum spool below the target and safety above the target.

You can set very high values for margins if you don’t want to use the spool/safety features and have the DC from the table at all times.
