Reading data from a Holley Sniper

Hi all :waving_hand: ,

I’m planning to replace all power distribution in my project car with one central ECUMaster PMU-24 DL . The car came with a Holley SuperSniper Stealth EFI (Sniper v1) .

To simplify wiring I want the PMU to grab engine RPM, throttle position and coolant temperature info from the car’s EFI. However, as far as I understand Holley uses a proprietary message format for it’s CAN connections (…or does it?).

Has anyone successfully hooked up an ECUMaster PMU to a Holley Sniper to read such info?

Thank you for your guidance! :folded_hands:

(jfyi, this is the same project as over here.)

Yes, you can receive the data from Holley in PMU.
We added support for float numbers over CAN, specifically for this.

You need test version 103.0 of the PMU software from here:
https://www.ecumaster.com/testVersions.html

Thank you Marek! That is great news! :tada:

This is the first time I configure such a CAN connection: is there any documentation/guide I can read up on to learn more about how to set this up properly?
