RPM spiking on startup

I’ve finally decided to try getting V3 to work in my car. I’m very familiar with V2 and how it works, but V3 I’m somewhat lost.

I imported my V2 tune to V3 and then filled out what I knew, such as outputs and sensors and such, I go to start the car, and it starts, but it just immediately spikes up to anywhere from 2500-3500 RPM and just hangs there. I tried zeroing the airflow tables to no affect, the only thing that was able to make a difference was activating the DBW DC lock. The lowest I could set it was to -10.

Anyways, I have no clue how this software works, and would appreciate if someone could take a quick look at my file and logs to possibly point out a really obvious mistake I’m missing.

The logs are essentially the same. Some are shorter, and some are longer as I’m trying to reduce any settings to bring the RPM down. Thanks.

RPM.runoff.file.emub3 (70.5 KB)

Have you calibrated the throttle ?

lower the DC in the table : Active state airflow

I did the DBW calibration wizard multiple times and something that keeps happening is after I do it, the lowest TPS value is always around 4%, so I have to keep manually adjusting the parameters to get it to 0% again. I already tried setting the whole Active state airflow table to 0 and it made no difference. Would armed state airflow table cause the RPM to rev up and hang?

I think the “Armed State Airflow” was the cause. I dialed the table way down and was able to get a very solid idle. On to the next problem lol
