Some tables are optimized as their size in V2 was unnecessarily big.
I have an Software Request for V3: Add Function that you can get Motor RPM over Wheelspeed / Ratio = Motor RPM.
For DSG User this would nice to see if the clutch slips → Difference between Motor RPM vs Motor RPM over Wheelspeed.
any news on can support for second lambda to can? only 664 works
Something like that is already existing…the channel is called something like speed rpm ratio
The new software version will be published today. CAN Lambda issue is fixed.
I want to use can switch to activate overrun, can you add activation input to overrun parametrers?
Why do you want such behaviour?
It’s little bit tiring when cruising and it pops all time. I just had an idea that I can limit this by rpm range…
Just create two overruns one silent and 2nd with pop and bangs.
Then just switch them with the switch. You will still have fuel cut but not pops and bangs.
How does flex fuel work in V3? I can see that it can be enabled under the fueling/flex fuel parameters. Then i can see i can select which tables will blend and the transition under the table switching section. Up to this point, everything is clear.
How do i activate blending between the 2 VE tables? And how do i adjust the blending curve? Flex fuel isn’t available to select in the VE table switch window. Also, where do we set the fuel scale factor?
Edit : I did see the fuel scale factor now is in the form of a 2d table named ethanol correction %, correct?
And one more thing, in the overun settings, the max ignition angle value in the table is 30, can you raise it to 45 or 50?
yes. As the ethanol content doesnt influence the ve there is no ve blending anymore.
No problem, will be changed in the next build.
Sure the VE doesn’t change no matter the fuel, it’s just the injector flow vs pulsewidth that affects the VE table values and often throws it out considerably. But testing needed first.
And different charge cooling between fuels throws it to.
I’ve brought this up previously and would also really like to see the ability to blend VE tables with fuel composition re-added to V3.
you can use 3d correction table.
also use blend lambda target tables as the lambda under load is a little bit different for ethanol
Doing it that way will work but doesn’t allow me to use the auto tune feature and check/apply changes against the 2nd VE table.
If I go for a long drive I like to use the log to refine the fuel table that way.
Hello all,
in version 2 of emu black firmware there is possibility to make some notes about the config itself (“Other - Password protection” → “Copyrights or Contact info”) - I am using it like that.
Thanks to that, I am able to read out which config is currently used, and I am able to pair it with measurement.
How it will be proceed, when customer will have freedom to upload the configs by himself (even locked with password).
Will be there any measured channel to be sure which measurement (from the logger) is conected to which config?
Iam using the functionality also to be sure which cinfig is currently use becouse it can happend that my colleague upload the car, or he forgot to do it - its essential to be sure what data from the logger Iam looging at.
Thanks a lot for answer.
hi evening all need some advice.

if they are specific files that need to be on the new card can some one show me where to down load or share it with me .
it will be used with v3
many thanks
