Just need a little clarification on which outputs are suitable to control the 2 VVTi solenoids on my engine. I see in the example projects for 2JZ that the VVTi is set to one of the Aux outputs. In the 3UZ example, 1 cam is on HBridge 2A and the other is on HBridge 2B. In the 3UZ one, there is also a VTEC control output assigned to Aux 3 which is confusing me.

In summary, the VVTi needs 2 PWM outputs. Are the Aux 3-6 capable of PWM or should I use the HBridge 2 outputs? If I use the HBridge, does one need to be inverted?

aux 3-6 are PWM capable.
Last 3UZ i did I also used the H bridge due to using the Aux outputs for other things.
Neither inverted.

Don’t know what the Vtec output is controlling on a 3UZ, but not the VVTi solenoids. Vacuum solenoid perhaps? I think some have variable runner intake manifolds
