Tps or failsafe problem emu black

Hello guys im curently having issue on customer car.

Its bmw e46 328i turbo. Its mechanical throttle body.I have tuned the car it was runing perfectly. Then problem started occuring. Problem occurs on neutral or in gear.

Whenever you goes full throtle towards limiter and then depress and quickly apply full throttle again and holds towards the limiter tps shows 40% but in reality the flap is open all the way. This thing happens in pull too. Going full throttle second gear then shift full throttle again and 40%tps again and no boost like a failsafe. But in logs nothing show. No check engine. No fluctuation from 5 volts. I havent found a single thing that indicates from ecu that something is wrong.

Even tried to load map from half year ago when car was running fine. We changed with buddy 4 other throttle bodies that were working it was not it. We checked sensor grounds for shorting. 5 volts routes. Checked conectors on emu. Even tried to change to spare emu black. Disconected all sensors related with 5 volts. We even tried to disconect spare cables from throttle body because 328 throttle body uses a lot of cables also for cruise control still nothing.

If anyone could help with this problem what is next to look for in emu or mechanical. I can upload log here also.

Either have a problem with

  1. The wiring or connection at the TPS

  2. The TPS sensor is faulty (most likely)

  3. The Min and Max values weren’t setup correctly within the software.

Can u share a log?

Some years ago i also had similar strange DBW effects. In the end i improved the main ground connections to the emu and the issue was gone.

  1. wiring was first original as it is on 328i with cable throttle body. so no issue there checked.
  2. we switched other 3 throttle bodies they have inside their own tps.
  3. this was also withing range also tried to lower the range nothing helped

yes here. but this is not DBW but cable driven. but inside there must be some motor that drives cruise control but we never used it via emu.
