Traction Control Issue – Sporadic Sensor Spikes

Hey everyone,

I’m having an issue with traction control on my setup.
My driven (VSS) and undriven (ABS) wheel speed sensors occasionally spike randomly, which causes the traction control to activate
when it shouldn’t.
My setup is Ecumaster black, driven sensor is hall undriven is VR sensor from ABS (ABS is still in use), my speed gauge and ABS function well.
Both sensors occasionally show random spikes in speed readings, the spikes are sporadic and inconsistent.
Adjusted the filtering in ECUMaster from low to high – no improvement.
Is there a way to introduce a 50ms delay before traction control engages?
Has anyone experienced this before? Any advice on troubleshooting, filtering settings, or adding a delay would be appreciated!
Log file is attached.

I don’t think there is a way to slow down how fast it reacts while using the “Speed based strategy.” If you were to switch it to “RPM based strategy,” you can select has fast it reacts. The only downside to using this strategy is that your gears scaling needs to be right and this can be sort of difficult to setup correctly although it can be done since you already have a solid VSS in signal.
