new plugs same issue, will try to change latter for newer style cop with built in amplifier, have them in garage just need to find connectors.
Do you still have those with external power generator? That is sitting in intake somewhere? That one likes to brake. I would advise you the TFSI ones. NGK 5014 or something.
Look what EMU black software gives you as preset to choose in coils. If you need help with wiring you can tell me. I did that recently. If you change: donāt forget to take out the external power generator in the intake.

hi evening so . i build and drive vw 1.8t 20v for a living . this is my opinion . you have 1 of 2 things
1 the rubber turbo inlet pipe is sucking closed as they get old they become soft . to test remove the turbo in let pipe .
2 you have valve float > meaning that the valve springs are week and donāt keep closed very common on the exhaust side. on old 1.8 t engines or exhaust blockage

Tnx for answers but this is not my case, car before had more boost without problems. I have problems with spark. 100%. Changed coils now all good.
New style cop and new spark plugs installed, no problems so far.
Job done, new coils did the job. Thanks for adviceās.
Now need bigger turbo k03 made max boost, if i will find k04 will post result on that too if stock con rods will not brake .
