Volvo S60R B5254T4 Cam Trigger

Hi,

Engine: Volvo T5 B5254T4
ECU: Emu Black (V3 software)

I’m currently planning my wiring harness and the modification I will need to do to the engine in order to set it up correctly. I was looking at the trigger wheels and the pattern available in the software. From my internet research seams that the trigger pattern is Volvo Long-Short.

What setting should I use in the software in order to have the correct reading for both my intake and exhaust cams?

A scope trace is your best bet to get a good trigger setting.

I had to do mine with the engine on the ground, plugs out and with a homemade pressure probe to get TDC (because I had everything scattered, lol)

This is what the reluctor looks like on a B6304T4: (top wheel is 60-2 flex plate and bottom wheel is the cam reluctor profile)

Similar but not quite the same as yours.
