Vq35 Emu Pro vvt calibration

Hello everyone. I’m installing EMU Pro on an Infiniti Vq35HR engine. I’ve synchronized it, and the engine starts and runs. The problem is with the intake camshaft VVT calibration. Calibration with VVT Tuner doesn’t work, and I’ve tried many options. Does anyone have a basic map for this engine for EMU Pro, or the intake camshaft VVT parameters? Please help!

Hello,

I analysed your scope file and I think there is a problem with synchronisation when the VVT Tuner moves the intake camshaft more than 20 degrees. Then it synchronises on a different crank tooth.

Please try to set a secondary trigger pattern: “Factor sequence“ with both “Shorter than” factors, values 0.8 and 0.5. This would allow to advance the sync camshaft to at least 50 degrees. This would invert the engine phase, you can switch it with “Invert engine phase” under secondary trigger settings.

You can also find some useful information here:

Everything worked out fine. I did as you said and adjusted the spark timing a bit. The camshaft timing was calibrated using vvttuner. Thank you very much for your help!!!

Hi, May you send me your Map File, please. I try to use a pro8 on a vq-engie too.

Thanks un andvance
