1.8t 20v BAM plug&play signal radiator fan

I’m having trouble getting a connection with the radiator fan. I set it up for coolant fan output to AUX4, but when I run a test to check for a signal, there’s no response from the fan. All the sensors, fan, and relay are new and have been tested—they all work. I just don’t have a connection with the ECU. Can anyone guide me?

hello
Could you post a screenshot of how you try to run the test?
also could you please post your project file?

have you wired the radiator fan relay to this output or you are trying from the ecu if it will work?

I did not change any pin; the pin connections are OEM, following the diagram from EMU. The radiator fan is on pin 61, which will connect to AUX4. I did some research on the OEM ECU diagram, and pin 61 is for EGT.

for BAM it is EGT, and for APY it is pwm for radiator fan.

Do you know which pin is for the radiator for BAM and which AUX I can connect it to?

I am not expert with BAM and I may be wrong but from what I understand it works with a thermal switch? I don’t find any pin that is wired to the ecu for the rad fan. sorry

I also think BAM doesn’t have a fan control wire from ecm…just a thermal switch and one from acm.
