ABS Coding for EMU PRO 8 especially for VAG cars

HELP HELP HELP.

I posted on the forum back in Feb 2024

(EMU Black - ABS Coding in CAN setup - EMU BLACK / CLASSIC - Ecumaster Community) and also another member is having a very similair issue (Software opinions - V3 SOFTWARE - Ecumaster Community) I know its a common issues if you search the forum with users are having this issue to do with ABS coding errors.

Will there be any updates to get the right ‘Vehicle CAN version’ and ‘Engine Code’ for VAG vehicles to get the ABS module working correctly.

This issue seems to be on both EMU Black and PRO8, I switched from BLACK to PRO8 hoping it would resolve this issue.

Look forward to your response and also if anybody else is having these issue similarly.

Hi,
There is nothing we can update here.

The coding is specific to each vehicle model and equipment.
VW is programming modules in the car to work with those specific codes.

We don’t know of any public list of CAN bus codes for VW.
The codings we have come from reverse engineering a stock vehicle.

To get the coding, you need a stock vehicle with the same engine and gearbox.
You can then connect to the vehicle CAN bus, read the coding values, and use them in EMU.

We don’t have any other way of making it work.
