Need a little help with connection vanos.
Vanos plug is 6 pin, so 3 pins for every vanos unit.
From what i know it is +12V , reatard signal, advance signal.
So i think i should connect avance and retard signal to Hbridge, and +12V.
But i found info about diodes, that are built in factory vanos and they should be removed ?
Any help and info on this ?
When we are doing this S54 VANOS system, we used to open it, reverse the polarity of the flyback diodes (solder them backwards) and use the common 12V and 4x AUX of the EMU for switching. We have done this method in times of the oldest EMU , long before HI-LO module, and long before Black.
