EMU BLACK: Voltage discrepancies and no spark condition

Hi there,

I have a 2jzgte with D585 LQ9 coils on my is300. I have wired everything as should, running wasted spark setup, including the following coil-related pin:

12V Switched (Red wires) - Gray Connector Pin 18

Power Ground (Black Wires) - Gray Connector Pin 17

Sensor Ground (Brown Wires) - Black Connector Pin 39

Coils 1&6 (Purple and white wires) - Gray Connector Pin 8

Coils 2&5 (Pink and Blue wires) - Gray Connector Pin 16

Coils 3&4 (Green and yellow wires) - Gray Connector Pin 9

I have no spark at the coils.

Battery voltage checks out at 12.34V

Output voltage Gray Connector Pin 18 is just measuring 0.112V for some reason.

I do the same test at the plug where the cables plug into the coil connector and i get the same 0.112V so continuity checks out.

Any ideas/settings I should be changing? I am using the base map provided in the website for a vvti 2jzgte and everything looks pretty straight forward I’d say.

Any leads or ideas will be greatly appreciated as i continue to troubleshoot.

Thank you,

Daniel

I’m not sure if i understood u correctly but G18 12V switched isn’t a output pin…u need to put 12V there to turn on emu = KL15. So clear that u don’t measure anything there.

I think he meant that he connectd a switched 12V from ignition lock to G18.
