Hi. Just on our Dyno @pagemotorsport and I’m really struggling with the new boost control setup on a 20v Turbo and 4 port with mainly surging using a toggle 9 setting boost switch. Is there anyway there can go back to an open loop two table setup or a targeting setup that’s more steady? Thanks Dan

Set up boost target tables and set margins to -120 and 120. Disable PID.
Then it´s “open loop”.
…
It would be nice if we could set margins something like -300…300kPa…
Try the open loop first (all of PID coefficients set to 0).
If you do not have stable boost with the open loop it is not a problem of boost controller.
Also set an option DC below margin to DC feedback table.
Ah thanks I will give that a go. What about my boost percentage using the rotary switch against duty tables?
Ok thanks. I know the open loop will be fine as I have selected use a fixed dc in the parameters and it’s fine fixed from 0-100. On Closed Loop it’s fine on lower boost levels but I just can’t get it stable over 1.2 bar. Thanks
Can you add in an open loop 2x dc table option like v2 has as well as the closed loop. Done loads of open loop rotary switch percentage boost control faultlessly from 0.5 bar to 2.2 bar in some cases, using a 4 port?
create your dc table for maximum boost yarget you want.
then with rotary switch you scale the target not dc.
dc is read from the dc ref table based on required tatget. so 2nd table doesnt make sense in this model.
if it works stable for open loop, probably your PID or margins are set wrong.
