Hello,
is it possible to use the Camshaft as the primary trigger?
With these settings? “CAM toothed wheel…” in the primary trigger settings

Yes, this is how many oem trigger systems are setup including Nissan SR20, RB, Mazda BP, KLDE, Honda D/B series. So long as it has enough trigger teeth to be accurate enough.
Having separate crank and cam position sensors is always preferred.
Thanks, what settings would you use if the trigger wheel on the camshaft has 4 teeth and 4 gaps, evenly spaced?
All the injectors are set to injector 1, and the ignition coil is set to coil 1.
there needs to be some reference marker or ‘home’ so the ECU can understand where to start counting teeth.
I think you’re using a more distributor based ignition trigger, you’ll need to modify the wheel. 4 teeth is really not good for resolution, I’d say at minimum you want 12 teeth. Wheel diameter can determine how many teeth you can fit. Cylinder count also play’s a factor, stick to 12, 24 or 36 teeth.
