Full sequential, requirered Triggering

Hello, short question to full sequential:

I currently run my motor (normal 4 cyl, 1-3-4-2) in wasted spark mode (and bank injection). I use a 36-1 triggerwheel with a hall sensor at the crankshaft. The missing tooth is located 60 degrees befor TDC on cly 1. In the software i can enter this offset, which works fine and i have driven the car like 1- 200 km with this setup. (I set 4 ignition events like 1+4, 2+3, 1+4, 2+3)

Now, i have installed a trigger wheel with one single tooth on the camshaft (i only have one) and added another hall sensor. It triggers between the 4th an 5th teeth of the crank-triggerwheel, i can see this clearly in the scope tool, which also tells me that the sensors are working fine.

Now i dont understand how exacly the setup is made for the secondary trigger. I first tried to use trigger type “1 Tooth” but i believe in this preset the 1 Tooth HAS to exactly match the missing tooth fromt the 36-1. This is not the case, thatswhy i set the trigger type to user defined, the value of user cam min tooth to “4” and user cam max tooth to “5”, because the cam trigger tooth occurs inbetween these two teeth from the 36-1.

what am i doing or understanding wrong?

my scope signal look pretty similar to the one in the manual on page 74, only with different countings as described previous:

i hope someone can help

thanks and regards

Daniel
