Hello
Is there no function to deactivate the overrun fuel cut depending on the coolant temperature?
I can get a smooth transition when the engine is above 50°C, but at lower engine temperatures the transition is quite rough. In the summertime this is not a big problem, because it takes only a few second before the engine gets to above 50°C. However, during wintertime it takes several minutes to get the engine to operating temperature and the active overrun fuel cut extends this warm up period even further.
I worked around this problem by loading a „winter tune“ which increases the overrun fuel cut RPM in a range where I don’t operate the engine when it’s not at operating temperature. This is not a very clean solution as it requires loading a different tune and it does slightly increase the fuel consumption when the engine is at operating temperature.
