hello i am running v3.050 on a toyota 1jz vvti running a vdo/bmw dbw throttle body, the issue i’m having is when driving the pedal beome’s unresponsive and the engine starts to idle at 2300-2800 rpm. in order for the dbw system to become functional again i have to cycle the ignition. 20250614_0436.emublog3 (2.6 MB) 1JZ VVTi 14jun.emub3 (62.6 KB)
i have alog of the issue happening at 56:40 in log
For sure you have a problem with the TPS sensor.
It reads 0V from time to time. However I can see other problems that I need to analyze.
Maybe it is connected with the 0V reading as a general wiring issue.
this log was taken while drifting the car so i don’t know how often he was on and off, on the pedal for it to read 0v, if it helps there is an AEM cd5 dash connected via CAN and whenever the pedal goes dead the screen freezes.
For sure you need to find the problem with your TPS sensor why it lost 5V or signal connection.
However the problem of constantly non working DBW is different. You have a lot of CRC errors connected to internal microcontrollers communication. I was able to reproduce single crc errors so for next build there will be fix for that.
So I loaded the firmware successfully and now I cannot connect to the ECU, I can hear the USB chime, the disconnected status stays in white instead of red ECU state is also white. The make permanent and firmware upgrade icons are greyed out, so I cannot revert to the previous firmware
after installing the firmware I could not connect to upload the map, I’ve tried connecting with v2 but the firmware and make permanent icons are greyed out . Is there something else that I can do the wake up the ECU boot mode etc.
