what are the differences in the hardware revisions of the emu pro? I have read that there where changes in pullup/pulldown resistors?

Hi Bastian,
I’m bit late with an answer, but hope it will be useful / informative for you.
In short, the specifications of both products have not changed since their launch.
However, we did implement the pull-up/pull-down change you mentioned in the EMU PRO-16 prior to the official product launch.
During closed beta testing in 2021/2022, the community suggested introducing additional digital inputs. As a solution, we added Digital 9/10 and multiplexed them with Analog 19/20. As a result of this change, all four inputs use a 1 kΩ pull resistor.
The official pinout for the EMU PRO-16 reflects the final hardware revision after this change:
