E34 M5T DBW Help needed

Assistance required please.

Car is a E34 M5 turbo with a plenum that uses the individual throttles from the S38 engine. Have fitted a dbw as required for the 8hp conversion we just did and i have a CANTcu that will operate the 8hp.

We initially fitted a Bosch 82mm DBW throttle to it, but modified to operate the individual throttles.

It did not have enought torque to open to full throttle. Have changed to a E46 M3 throttle accuator, which works much better. accuator has a short cable connected from it to the throttle linkage and the springs with exception of 1 where removed from the linkage to reduce resistance.

In the software i select the correct accuator in the wizard and then do the calibration and all works and goes through its motions with no errors. once finished it opens to the FULL POSITION and no or very little response from the golf 5 pedal we used. If i use the dc test function it works correctly.

i have inverted polarity in the software, changed the wire polarity, changed tps polarity and the same happens. Tps and PPs values read correct and PPS/analog3 is half value of TPS.

analog5 is to tps on accutator and reads from 0.7 upwards when the accuator moves to full open.

if i invert in software then throttle moves in correct direction but only 2-3mm.

First DBW i am working on with the Emu Black so have attached the map and hope to be pointed in the right direction. appreciate any replies.

in the help folder i found this circuit diagram for the BMW itb .

anyone used this circuit ?

am i correct to use 4 x diodes in series ?

“emu stepper” in diagram i assume to use a output or Hbridge1 ?

thanks

Having a hard time to get the listed omnifet.

Alternative i can get is 80amp x 70v.

Listed omnifet is a 35amp x 70v.

Will it work ?
