I love the usbtoCan product but am attempting to write custom windows software to make life easier for a particular task but cannot find any information on how to interface with the tool (api etc). I assume it’s possible given there is custom software that supports the tool out there. If anyone can point me to where I can find some more info that would be great.
I use authentic (and chinese) PCAN devices + the PCAN-Basic api with great success for the last 15+ years. Never a dropped packet.
I’ve also used numerous other chinese adapters that are loosely based on the lawicel protocol and are also useful under SocketCAN from within linux environments. Also, never a dropped packet.
I’d also like to hear if there is an api available for usbToCan.
