I am running EMU Black with V2 software and 8hp gearbox with Cantcu. Everything works fine, but i want to connect a BTCAN module. The problem is Cantcu and EMU black are communicating with 1 mbps, and according to manual CANBT module, it have to run 500 bps.
How to fix this??
The cantcu seems like a pretty advanced device so I’m surprised the data rate can’t be changed in the software, especially with its ability to interface with so many ecus including factory ones. Regardless, two separate standard can bus networks would be required to run devices at different data rates. Since the black only has one can bus network you’ll either need a can bridge of some kind, which are pretty widely available in a range of styles, or switch to the emu data logger which uses serial as the connection. I have both the can to bt and the serial data logger installed in different products and the dedicated data logger is the much better end product with Bluetooth and data logging built in.
