Hi guys, I’m experiencing a very rare (once every few weeks) intermittent DBW issue and could use some input.
Occasionally, the throttle becomes completely unresponsive and closes for a couple of seconds. When this happens, I get a DBW CEL, but no other errors are logged. (it happens very rarely, so I haven’t been able to get the log from my PC while it happens, but I did get the log from my android dash)
I’ve already replaced the DBW hardware (throttle body and pedal), but the issue still occurs.
Setup:
-
Engine: Mitsubishi 4G15 MIVEC Turbo
-
ECU: ECUMaster EMU Black (software: v2)
One thing I noticed in my settings: Max POT Error = 0.06V
- Is 0.06V too sensitive for Max POT Error?
- Could this be causing a false plausibility fault and triggering the DBW shutdown?
Thanks!
