If they are using the same boost control that is in Pro then it takes a little bit of getting used to but by god its good! so easy once you have the numbers in place. made my car feel a fair bit more responsive!
Yes we do. Strategy is very similar to Pro

set PID to 0, or off PID function?
When boost PID dissable i see in log Boost DC 100% and from table boost DC 33%
There is a concept of the margin. So if your boost is under the margin it is always 100% to spool the turbo as fast as possible, if it enters the margin it starts to read DC from table and apply PID controller (if PID coefficients are > 0).

Is there a fairly limited number of people gaining access to the V3 beta? I sent in my application about a month ago, but didnât hear back ( I assumed I wasnât chosen to participate ). Any word on if it would be possible for me to get access?
Iâve recently changed injectors (poor characterization on the old set) and boost control setup, and am waiting until V3 to re-tune as I expect to retune at that point anyway.

Is it possible that I could get a download of the V3 software to test? It sounds like there are a few things added to this version that would help with some things I am currently working on, e.g. individual knock signal for each cylinder, smoother MAP signal (currently Alpha N, but Iâd like to try blended TPS/MAP control, TPS resolution also sounds helpful, and lastly, the overrun changes may help solve my backfire issues. Please let me know.
EMU BLACK V3 OPEN BETA TESTS
I would like to inform about the commencement of open beta tests for the V3 software for the EMU BLACK computer.
To join the tests, follow these steps:
- Register on the Ecumaster community forum (community.ecumaster.com ).
- Fill out the form and then send it to the address v3@ecumaster.com. The form is available at https://www.ecumaster.com/âŚ/Beta%20SoftwareâŚ
- After verification, you will gain access to the V3 beta testing forum.
- After downloading and installing the software, the program will prompt you to generate a key. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Due to significant differences between V2 and V3 software, it is not possible to import projects. However, you can copy what takes the most time, namely VE and Ignition maps.
In version 3.024, which we will provide for testing, the following features will be missing:
- Nitrous strategy
- Staged injection / 2nd fuel rail
- Incomplete Help section, which is still being developed
- Not all trigger patterns from V2 are implemented
Therefore, we are especially looking for individuals with cars in which the following ignition triggers patterns:
- Mitsubishi Colt 1.5CZ
- Audi 135 tooth, BMW 116 tooth,
- Mazda NB
- Lancer EVO X
- Porsche 129 / 132 tooth
- Rover 13-1-2-1-14-1-3-1 (Lotus Elise)
Work is currently underway on the new version 3.024, which should be available next week. As soon it is ready all registered users will get access to the forum. A brief tech note will also be available to facilitate migration to V3 software.
Regarding ego correction now its short fuel trim do any one has a setting thatâs working? Nothing in the help desk.

Make ignition event on lef side, right side editable injectors phases as same firing order thatâs alll.
In V3 this is already changed to make it better understandable.
Even default setting should work. Probably conditions are not met.

Yes. New version of the software should be released on Friday, and then we will grant access to new testers.

I see the nitrous strategy is missing from the beta test software. Currently, Iâm using it to run my methanol injection at high boost and rpm. Will the nitrous strategy be included in future versions?
