Hello everyone. I am posting here as a last resort before I let the car sit over winter (which hasn’t even arrived yet). Disclaimer: I am a noob but I try to not be the noob that posts without troubleshooting and exhausting every possibility within my skill set.
I wired in an emu black into my 03 lexus is300 aristo swapped car. I went pin by pin following the guidance provided by Zach, and whenever I wasn’t sure or wanted to wire additional things, I referenced the aristo ECU pinout/descriptions to know what I was wiring where.
I have been running D585 LQ9 coils for the better part of 10 years no problem but I seem to have lost spark. I am using the base map provided for a vvti 2jzgte and have created copies of it to change a setting here a setting there in hopes of figuring it out to no avail. Originally, I had wired the coils THROUGH the stock harness, into and IGF box provided by Rick at Mojo performance and back to the stock harness and into stock aristo ecu. Upon connecting to emu black and not getting any spark I then proceeded to delete IGF box and wire the coils DIRECTLY to the EMU. Disconnected the factory wires and crimped and connected the cables DIRECTLY from coils.
