Hi all,
I’m struggling to get my 13B-REW (FD3S) running properly on an EMU Black Pro.
Setup:
- 4x ignition coils (2x leading, 2x trailing IGN1A Coils)
- 2-stage fuel setup (bosch 980 injectors)
- Bosch DBW throttle body
The VE table appears to be significantly off. I’ve tried adjusting values across the table, but nothing produces a stable RPM (only in idle range but not super smooth) regardless of the VE values I try.

You are losing synchronization.
Make two scope files.
One at idle and one at 2k rpm where you lose the sync.

hello, I changed filter and the threshold voltage and I think it is now better:
but the exhaust is smoking grey like there is a lot of unburned fuel(while at lambda 0.94). But the lambda looks ok( not tuned yet and in the normal range for a rotary engine which will not idle at lambda 1)

maybe i have overlooked something in the injector settings which is crucial for rotary engines.. any idea?

I looked over the fundamental settings, and they look ok.
One possibility is an exhaust leak, which would make the lambda appear leaner than it is.
Just start decreasing fuel without worrying about lambda. If you lower the fuel, the engine runs smoothly, and the lambda is higher than 1, you know the lambda reading is distorted in some way.
I have checked with a leak detector(smoke generator) and cannot find any exhaust leaks.
But maybe something with my trigger setup is wrong. I come from Haltech and Link ECUs and I can see a difference in the TDC Offset that I have determined with a ignition light gun on the emu pro.
The 13b-rew has a 20° ATDC Notch on the trigger wheel which is use to calibrate the timing. I have set the ignition lock to -5° BTDC and the ignition trailing (delay) to - 15° ADV which results in 20° ATDC on the trailing coil.
With this setup I got a first TDC angle of 350 °
for example with the same engine setup on a haltech elite 2500 I have this offset:

What can cause the discrepancy in these two setups and can this cause my problems?

Hello,
the 350 degree of tdc angle came from polarity of the VR Sensors. Switching the wires fixed the issue.
The Car is still Smoking, I think its caused by the Bosch extended tip injectors which will cause wall wetting. I will try to Switch to different injectors.
