Good morning, I can’t have the ignition cut off when shifting, it works with the flat shift strategy and paddle shifter in a sequential box. I don’t want to use the clutch pedal to shift up but I read that it has to be activated to use the flat shift function. how can I solve it?
I dont understand the issue. if you have dogbox you need to use gear shift strategy.
If not you need to give information to ecu that you want upshift. For H pattern stabdard box the clutch is natural solution.
I use a sequential box with paddle shift. The problem is that it does not cut off the ignition when you press the shift lever.
I have the gear shift close loop configured.
You have something setup wrong.
Paddle shift strategy control gearshift strategy to perform cut and blip
check gear unknow log channel. it is the most common reason of gearshift failure.
I DON’T KNOW WHERE I COULD HAVE THE PROBLEM.
HOW MUCH VOLTAGE DOES IT LEAVE FREE BETWEEN GEARS?

Firstly stop typing in CAPITALS that rude and inappropriate.
you have no cut set in torque reduction just few degrees retard .
and torque reduction 5 deg how would you expect this working
help section for this subject is there
Sorry for the capital letters, ok I’ll apply retardation and more torque reduction. How much voltage would you leave for the unknown zone between each gear?
make sure you have connected your gera position sensor to Analog in 4 whay isblogged to PC with 250Hz. The lower voltage is the voltage when the gear is already switch when you switch from the lower gear and the upper voltage is the boltsge when the gear is out when shift for the upper gear.
You need to read these values from the log.
okay, and how do you know when a gear ends?
I can’t understand it well, my position sensor is an analog sensor placed in analog 4
The sensor marks a value for each gear.
I can’t figure out what the upper and lower voltage is for each one.
I’ll send you a log with the voltage from 1st to 6th
thanks

The picture below shows the gear out voltage for gear 4.
Gear in voltage can be observed during the downshift.
What was the value of the upshift preload in paddle shift strategy ?
The preload appears after the shift starts (torque reduction) what is wrong.
If the preload is higher than 0 in your preload table please stop testing the gear shift as it can be a bug in the software. There must be preload before cut starts.
Here’s a tip for preload and calibration of the gear voltage:
You need an assistant to help you. First, ensure the engine is off. While the car is in gear, have someone push the car. Attempt to change the gear, but because the wheels are moving, the actuator will not be able to shift. This action, however, preloads the gears inside the gearbox, allowing you to observe the maximum and minimum voltage (for downshifting) for the given gear.
preload its 100ms. its necesary mod soft?
Could be an bug. I will test your calibration. If there is a bug I will make a fix in 1-2 days.
The preload is very important. In the meantime you can calibrate the gear position sensor.
Set the Min RPM for upshift in paddle shift strategy to 0, otherwise it will not work when the engine is not running (the delfault value is 1500)
Ok, I’ll wait for you to test the software to continue doing dynamic tests.
I upload a log and a file.
I think the calibration of the position sensor is correct.
can you verify?
thank you

The log you have attached is very short and there is no enough data about your gears and voltage to check your calibration.
I’ve tested your project on the bench and the preload works properly, however your log shows that it doesnt work.
I’ve prepared a firmware with additional debug data to gather more information about possible issue.

Please make some gear changes and send me the log.
Thanks
hello 1 to 6 gear and 6 to 1

I found the issue. You configured Paddles shifters as well as Gear lever using the same can switches. Now when you activate the paddle shifter it activates also the leaver.
The leaver doesnt need the preload so the ECU start to reduce the torque.
Set both switches to None and everything should work as expected.
Please send me the log to confirm.
I think it’s still not working correctly, I leave you the log
thank you
