How to calibrate temperature sensor?(EOT/CLT)

I’m having a hard time calibrating the temperature sensor. I’d like to know exactly what to do, what to do specifically to calibrate a sensor that’s not on the sensor wizard, and where to set the standard. Please let me know

What are ur preconditiones?
Do u have the characteristic curve of the sensor (resistance vs Temperature) and just want to calculate the voltage vs temperature curve depending on the pullup resistor?
Or do u have no informations about the sensor at all?

One sensor has a data sheet, but the other sensors do not have a data sheet. Currently, we compared the resistance value difference with the data sheet using the Bosch 0280130026 sensor, and we compared the resistance value when the Bosch temperature sensor is the resistance of that temperature using a compatible modern sensor. There is not much difference in resistance, so we are going to take the value similar to that of the Bosch sensor, but I wonder how we should take that value. Should we take it as an average value
And the sensor without the data sheet measured the resistance value every 5 or 10 degrees, is this the right way to do it?
What I want to do is there is one that does not have a dataset, so I wonder how I should correct it.

Best way: use a mix of hot water and cold water, slowly measure resistance every 5 or 10 degrees, record data. do voltage divider calculations and enter into ECU

Fast Way: measure at 3 points (ideally far apart, say 0*, 60* and 120*C) and using the wizard in the software you can enter the resistance at 3 temperature points. It does the rest, and it’s pretty accurate.

End of the day if the temp sensor value is off by a couple degree’s it’s not going to change much in the tune. More then 5 degrees lets say is a problem, but any error will just get baked into the calibration anyway

Thanks very much I will refer to it
