Im wondering whats the easiest way to get the correct ratios setup, if its just to try go a “speed” and go with the ratio untill the speed in the ecu is the same as the oem speed signal in the dash? and repeat for all the gears? my front wheels seem to be right for the speed in the emu, but the rear wheels(driven onces) and vss is way off
have speed signal from all my wheelsensors via canbus from the mk60 e5 abs unit.
You can read gear ratio from the log for each gear (Gear speed to RPM ratio).
However you shoud use rear wheel speed as your VSS source (driven axle) to have proper ratio during wheel spin.
thanks, ,saw this when checking the log, one wheelsensor read 2000km/h, i guess thats my fault, will get this checked out and see whats wrong with my sensor ![]()
do this have to be check at same speed with all gears? and what gear should be “revers” 1 or 7 ? ![]()
drive steady and shift through gears. this way you have a steady log. its not important that its the same speed.
there is a dedicated field for Reverse. Number of gears including reverse is if you have a 6 speed then the value is 7 (6+1)
drive and check the logs you will figure it out.
