Knock wiring - where to ground

I’m using an EMU PRO-8 which has the knock sensor inputs on the B connector. I assume I should keep the wiring twisted as long as possible, but there’s no analog ground on the B connector, instead it’s on the C connector. How bad will the signal be if it isn’t twisted for the last 8" (20cm) or so? Should I use the digital ground B9 instead (I’m not wiring external USB)?

Hi,
Use the analog ground.
It’s not critical to have perfect coverage of the twist and shield.
If all else is equal, the noise induced in the sensor wire is proportional to the length of the “exposed” length.
