map go down and engine stop

check your idle settings. there is an acrivatuon condition based on MAP.
Probably idle are deactivated and engine stalls.
However you pressure on idle is really low

ok, but i drive on 33 version, and dont change idle setting before upgrade on 35 version

this change was introduce in 3.034
Please alway try tobread change log as there is a lot of information about changes that can cause issues.

Gday,

After updating from 3.032 to 3.035 the car runs significantly leaner. STFT added 18% fuel once the O2 sensor kicked in. I briefly tried it on 3.034 and 3.033 and both had the same issue. Injector PW, injector cal, and VE all look the same between versions.

I noticed in the 3.033 update that there were changes made to the “fuel rail model”. Is this likely to significantly impact the VE table of a baro referenced fuel system with no fuel pressure sensor?

I simply want to gauge if there is an underlying issue before I re-build the VE table to compensate for this new fuelling. Any help is appreciated.

can you publish here your base map from version 3.032 ? I check

hi, !

i am still missing MAP percentage torque reduction multiplier !!
sport - gearshifts - torque reduction- upshift
in V2 we have MAP value coresponding amount of torque reduction needed.
now we dont have any table to calbrate how much torque reduction we need ??!!!

can we get a table for that ? or a canbus analoge input value for percentage of torque reduction we want ? i rather do it in emu then in gearbox controller but. what ever. i need such table

we have now torque reduction depending on what gear thats stupid table i can not use that i have between 100 and 700NM i need to determin the amount of torque reduction by the amount of power or boost i am making during shift please change this axis to map or selectable !

Hey mate, attached is the map. I’ll have more time to do some investigation over the weekend.
ETKV89.emub3 (68.3 KB)

The gearshift strategy is for dog boxes.
I can add an option (where you select external controller for gear shift parameters), that the torque reduction will be read from the CAN BUS using user can stream (I add additional channel to log).

In version 2 we have a table for torque reduction percentage depending on map sensor.

Thats what i would like to get back.
Then its usable for external gearbox controller with only a cut flag. Instead of extended messages.

I come up with some idea for the next build.

I’ve tested you base map on 3.032 and 3.035 on both versions I get the same PW at given parameters.
What I suggest is to warm up the engine and make a log with 3.032 and then upgrade to 3.035 and make similar log.
Then I will try to find out the differences.

Now the Up shift torque reduction table is 3D

Thanks mate,

I’ve grabbed a log of this with the engine fully warmed up. The first part of the log is on version 3.032. The second part is on 3.035 (Note: The motor stalled early on in the 35 log, so I reduced the idle min map to 0).

I let the car sit for similar periods to time before each log, to replicate the level of heat soak - which is near identical as you can see with the IAT between logs. Even at the end of both logs, the IAT is at about 12c, and yet the 3.032 version runs with about -2-3% STFT, while 3.035 requires about +5-8% STFT. Even visually, throughout the log you can see that 3.035 is requiring significantly more fuel trim to remain on target.

Let me know if you spot anything! Log and map below. Cheers!

Great !!!

Thanks !!!

With 35 u seem to have a -9% correction by fuelpressure…with 32 not…there ur settings seem to be different. I think this explains the different fuel trim.

Jadzwin, Can work with DSG?

Hello,
I find an issue - not sure if it affect only v3.035 or also olred versions.

  • after some changes in functions “Fn x”, I save the project and then comparing the project with function “Compare current project…” → My changes in Functions are not mentioned.
  • also in tab “tables”, there is always mentioned “Custom corr.1” → 0 changes.
