Dear Jadzwin, Should someone who drives an R32 replace n+1 with n-1?

both are ok but probabky ir changes the engine phase.

What are the chances of using egt 1 or 2 as Analog inputs?
I see you have added flex fuel input as an analog now too.

Will switch 1,2,3 be able to be used as analog inputs like the previous versions (V2)

Perfect timing for the update as I have a new EMU black for a brand new build & busy planning the harness

Is it possible to add Analogs inputs for the activation inputs for A/C?? In the V2 I have my AC input set up with analog input #5 but in the V3 there is no Analog inputs to choose from the AC activation input drop box

You can use the Functions method for this. To do this, you can-
Set Output to Virtual
Action “Set Output Only”
Create operator in which-
If Analog In #5 is Greater Than/Less than certain voltage, it will activate the virtual output. Under Activation Input listed there, set it to whichever function you created your operator in.

you can select each user switch, then in the tab - sensors and inputs / switches / user switch you assign to which input the given switch is and whether it is inverted, and in analog inputs you set whether it should be pullup

Use Flash function to get multiple pulses and Pulse if you want single pulse.

Hello, before I switch to the V3 I have a question: is it possible to set the speeds for shifting with DSG up to 8000 rpm?
In the V2 the function is limited to under 7000 rpm.
I would like to program the shift points depending on the gear.

Migrated from V2 to V3 today, I have some feedback:

  • The WBO calibration value ended at 4066 from 0, it is probably right but it would be nice if there was a help menu explaining the value so I can get an idea whether it is valid, just seems like a big jump, but alright.
  • I have DBW; my TPS in is connected to PPS, which works fine, but it confused me setting up the error table for my PPS as I cannot plot that input because when plotting TPS IN voltage then the actual TPS (analog1 in my case) is showed. The workaround was to set TPS IN to TPS in the SW then I could see voltages and map it, and then set TPS back to analog1 as it is wired.

I like the new cranking setups, makes much more sense to me, and easier to setup. I finally have my car starting from 0°C with no issues first try after migration.
also the idle options they really makes sense, idle is much easier to control, and menu parameters is easier to understand. I am still trying to figure out what idle “armed” means, that state is not clear to me.

At last thanks for sending out improvements for this product it is really nice that you do this even for my 3 years old EMU black.
