Overrun settings flames

does anyone of you guys already played with the toaster function? i tried to get out some flames this weekend, but did not find the correct setting. is someone willing to share some settings with me? thx

me too are interested in hard cut limiter and pops and bangs.

maybe someone can introduce their strategy in a setup. do you first retard ignition and put in fuel as long as it ignites?

Is toaster an actual function / setting or just a nickname?
I haven’t updated the firmware just yet to latest V3, as on vacation

toaster in relation to → flames your beef

noone ever tried to get out some nice flames? i thought more of you guys are testing the overrun options

maybe @Jadzwin_ECUMASTER can lift the mystery a bit? i just get out 2 loud pops with retarding. maybe some pics of your setup you once postet with the 1meter flame

With V2 i used the Anti Lag function to creat some pops and bangs in standstill after hardpressing and then releasing the pedal. I just wanted a little.
I used following settings:

In the end u need some late spark advance and some sparkcut, that u get a lot of heat in ur exhaust and a mixture which can burn.
One time i was playing with launchcontrol on a car…and went a bit too far and the rear muffler exploded

I will ask Norbert on Monday to put settings from our Focus ST

To get flames from the exhaust, it’s best to inject a large amount of fuel with very retarded ignition timing and cut ignition events. Then, lean out the mixture, restore the ignition, and after ignition, inject more fuel again. It’s also important to slightly open the throttle.

if you have pwm solneoid for idle control, you can set higher dc in armed state. so more air will be peovided
