Hey All,
I’ve been working on this tune for my R53 mini JCW. The car has a header and an intake and no other engine mods yet. I’m running Bosch 0280156063 374cc/min injectors. I measured the dead time and flow rate myself. I’ve also converted to a wideband lambda sensor (LSU 4.9) for closed loop fueling.
This is my first time tuning a standalone, the R53 basemap is designed for open loop fuel so I had to adjust the STFT and lambda sensor settings on my own. I’m not sure if I did it right.
Would someone be willing to take a look at this log and tune file to let me know if its looking ok? I’m not sure how to know when the fueling is “good enough”. Should the measured lambda be on target 100% of the time or is it normal for it to fluctuate a little bit? I dont have access to a dyno so this is completely street tuned using the autotune feature.
The car runs and drives great, starts right up and pulls decently. Fuel is always on target at wide open throttle but struggles at low speed and part throttle.
Thanks!
