Having a starting issue.
BMW S50B30 turbo running crank trigger only. has vanos deleted.
have a starting/cranking issue and a hassle getting it to idle properly with a 2pin idle valve. changed from a 3 pin idle valve.
1st issue to sort out is when cranking over it generally take 4-5 tries to start.
On a cranking log i see it gets a missfire of sorts, as in logs attached, you can see multiple cylinders fire/trigger around the same time but only for that instance. on occassion the engine backfires loudly like a shotgun.
Got the car running decently but needs more attention once issues resolved. Map attached.

have tried with shield connected and disconnected and no different. if car starts, then it runs fine but on 2 occassions it has just cutoff while cruising.
Will be changing to a new crank sensor but before spending money and wasting more time , i thought id ask here.
