If I understand the help files correct i have a problem when the missing teeth are before the sensor like this, getting second ignition event on the other side of the gap.
This means I have to set up the firing order so it starts with 3 instead. I found the output offset in Ignition settings, but what about injectors? Do I set “Injector 1” to ignition event 1 or 2?
No ideas on this?
Mabye a simpler question; My second trigger is a HALL sensor mounted in a custom distributor lid, and i made a metal rotor that passes the sensor (ignition advance in the dizzy are disabled).
When cranking, i get perfect primary trigger, but no secondary. It worked on a different ECU, and the connections are verified, so I assume is the setup? I also tried falling edge and pullup..
Where in the menus would it be easiest to confirm triggers? only the scope?
To conclude this; If you need to change firing order, the second trigger needs to be offset to the next cylinder as well. The lack of secondary pulse in my case was that it was at the wrong place, and I had set filters as to where it should be relative to the primary. Not 100% sure about this, but the S. trigger appeared when it was at the right place.
