V2 vs v3 DBW settings

I Have a pnp wiring harness and I’m wondering if I have one free analog input now after changing to v3.

In v2 pnp harness my tps is at tps input, analog 1 is dbw pot inv signal and analog 4 is dbw pot signal.

Now on v3 I use tps signal for pps and analog 1 dbw pot inv signal for tps, and I am not using analog 4 dbw pot signal for anything. Is this correct or should I still be using my DBW pot signal for something?

You can use the same configuration as in V2.
Just set tps and pps accordingly.

do I need to use tps check signal? is there anything to gain from using it?

safety. you can also enable stuck throttle protection in the case the throtthe gets stuck open
