Hi everyone,

is there anyone running DQ500 with V3 successfully? If so, which version are you running?

If you using DQ500 in the OEM car, please use 3.066 version as in the previous versions the ECU always sent Gateway messages to the CAN

No it will be a 1.8T 20v project running dq500 from rs3 with diesel TCU.

When you say ‘‘Gateway messages’’ what exactly is being sent here? What information is this from EMU to the TCU?

If the DQ500 was selected the messages normally send by gateway where always send (even when gateway emulation was disabled). So if you have a gateway module it cause the issue on the bus.

@ANDREI did you also need VSS input beside the speed sensor on the gearbox?

Yes VSS input is mandatory into the ECU because it is reported to gearbox over CAN and the DQ500 has the shift points based on the VSS (Speed)

Thanks a lot Andrei! I see your running your DSG on V3. How is the DSG control working for you on V3?

I moved to Maxxecu. Maxx more comfortable and and closer to the stock ECU

Ok fine! In the time you were running EMU Black with V3, was the DSG control good? Were you happy with it?

I wasn’t happy with how the DQ500 worked on the Emaster, so I switched to the Maxxecu.
