V3 Motorsport ABS - MK60E5

Hello

I am rebuilding my Volvo 244 and adding some restomods to it. One is ABS with MK60E5 unit.

I know it can function as a standalone unit , however since V3 offers native support I’d like to find out what exactly is happening and here are some questions.

  1. Do I need a flash to motorsport firmware and if so which version ?
  2. Which canbus messages does V3 provide?
  3. Which functions do I have using it standalone vs with V3? Does the native support give some extras ?

It is only reading the 4x wheel speed sensors over CAN. When selected in the CANBUS section.
