It works properly on the bench.
For message 0x25 there is a timeout 100Hz. If the message is not received in 100ms from the previous one, the default value is used (in your case 0)
Why do you use such low ID ? In CAN the lower ID the higher priority.
Is it possible that there is a clash between IDs on your CAN Bus ?

The update rate from the steering wheel is 50ms. 0x25 sends the steering wheel switch states as a bitfield on Byte 0. When the (currently) three switch states are sent, they work correctly if set to Can Switch 2, 3, and 4 but any one of them displays the same random on/off behavior if set to Can Switch 1.
Using 0x25 as there isn’t a lot of traffic on the bus and I’m prioritising steering wheel switches over some other data (so the horn is more likely to work when I press it etc…). But I did try it with other addresses from 0x50 to 0x600 - No change. The load on the bus as reported by the Black is ~20%.

No. The CAN BUS hardware in classic is very limited.

Is it possible to add the “Check engine light output” channel (not “Check engine code”) ? For send it to the CAN Switch Board V3, with a Fn. I would like to have an independent CEL (Check Engine Light) and Knock indicator light.
Hi All, the v3 guide shows trigger pull downs 4.7k as default trigger .
I’m running VR Type trigger on 1jz non . Should I keep the no pull down or pull up selected .
I thought VR Style required none. Help anyone .
Also would be nice to have 1jz non trigger in the wizard considering many of these older motors out here .
Also is there an effort to have Base start maps like other manufactures ? Dont want to just convert from v2 would rather reduce point of failure by starting with V3.

4k7 pulldown lowers input impedance what improves noise immunity.
So the pulldown (sometimes pullup) is strongky adviced for vr sensor. Even 1k if the engine is able to start with such low value.
Sorry, I didn’t express myself clearly, “Check engine code is true” function is not suitable for this application.
I would simply like a C.E.L. light without a knock warning, (using the CAN switch bord V3).
And a separate warning light dedicated to knock.
The “Check engine light output” channel, indicated in the table "Engine protection - Check engine light, is absent from the list. This output I would like on the “CAN switch on board V3”
All physical outputs on my EmuBlack are occupied by essential components.

It is possible as it will attenuate the signal a little. You can try to use pullup 4k7 instead of pulldown.
Or just use it without any pullup / pulldown if the engine revs without trigger errors.
SCOPE ANOMALY
Cylinder 2 Ignition and Injection angle is not displaying the same angle as the other three.
They all appear to be spaced evenly and the engine is running smooth. Bug or something else?

Installed this today. All Desktops are blank, and they reset to this every reboot of the SW.
I managed to store desktops, and they do come back, but the parameters in Tune display are gone.
Also, If i double click the Graph display, it maximizes, and i can’t find a way to get it windowed again?
Use tab TAB key to restore not maximized window size.
There are some limitiation of the scope graph window. It will be improved in the future.
Just tried the log export - I would love to get a selection list of channels to export (that also stores the preferences - if I understand it correctly I can only choose from the up to 16 channels in a graph - or all 500+ channels?
I would also like to be able to set the scale max/min on the z-axis on the scatter plot, for short term trim it defaults to ±100, so all points are green..
But - all in all - very good work guys! Tuning with this is fun!
