When cranking the engine, the ECU displays an RPM signal between approximately 175–230 RPM. However, the ECU status does not transition from Inactive to Cranking.
This condition started last night. The ECU has been operating on firmware v3 for about a month without any prior issues. Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
This is a vw 2.0 8v
60-2 trigger with 4 ford 3v COP running sequential
Are you sure your configuration is the latest one ?
I tested it on the bench and everything is working well.
On the log I can see that after several seconds it start to sync and change state from inactive to cranking.
In Engine protection you have Oil protection strategy engabled with the 5 sec delay, but nothin is assigned to oil pressure sensor. Try to disable this protection.
@Jadzwin_ECUMASTER thanks for looking …… after a day or so I changed the crank sensor and the ecu would then change state….but didnt start because it would sync then loss sync and I had to change settings to get it to start….here is a recent file. Let me know if u see anything wrong or recommend anything to try.
