EMU Black Ign. Angel. 0° when opening throttle

Hi dear community,

i’ve got a strange problem with my ca18det. Just wired the ECU, checked all outputs and inputs, checked the whole pinning. Everything seems to be correct, idle is stable (just a base map at the moment), all parameters looking good.

So now, please have a look at the attached logs. As soon as i am opening the throttle body a little bit (no DBW) the engine is shaking and inside the ignition angle jumps to 0°. But the cam1 says always “synced”. I tried to adjust the trigger gaps, all fine.

Do you have any idea, where this comes from? Do you see anything weird inside the map or inside the logs?

best regards,

Lorenz

ignition goes to 0 at overrun

engine goes lean at throttle your ve map is not tuned

Thanks for your answer.

How is it possible that overrun is active with TPS >0? Thought it is only active with TPS = 0.

Maybe you have ignition idle strategy active and tries to bring down the rpm

Its your overrun settings.

As soon as your throttle position falls below 2% overrun begins the ignition enter rate and ignition falls to the ignition set in the overrun ignition table, which is zero in your case.

Thanks a lot for your input! Then i will disable overrun for testing and then this behaviour should be gone…hopefully ;). I’ll come back to you right after my next tests to let you know.
