Engine won`t start

hi ,
have problem with new setup of pro 16 and it is my first pro box…engine will not start there is not even a small pop. there is spark and if i do a scoop check on injector 1 there is signal, what is it i do not see … engine is a 2.0 16v 60-2 trigger whell , 1 tooth cam sensor,ID 1300 injectors, dbw, turbo, turbosmart e-wastegate blackbox control, suggestions are gladly accepted

you have 1.5ms injection on cranking is way to short for start it if you have stock injectors you probably need 12ms or something similar. you have synch so is seeing both triggers correctly I think.

have tried and changed VE from 10 to 90 and it does not change injector ms is around 2.3ms regardless of what ve number…new lof file is with 10 in first start activation and 40 in second

You are adjusting the Cranking VE table right?
I see your ID1300 injectors (you should add the short pulse width data too)

The entire fuel table’s VE number’s look really low to me, 25% at idle is like 1/2 what I’d expect it to want.
There’s also prime pulse and cranking volume correction to add more fuel. Add APP as an axis to the cranking VE table to use like a Deflood mode (100% pedal = 0% VE), this helps me determine if its flooding or not getting enough fuel during cranking. also brake clean, if it runs on brake clean then it’s fuel, if it doesn’t then perhaps you have timing off or something like that.

Do you have an example of a short trim setup?

I’m still working on getting the engine going, it can now reach 1200 rpm when cranking, after adjusting the cranking volumetric efficiency and cranking volume correction I’ve also tried different values in the short pulse adder which is now set to zero, and have tried adding fuel base map in steps from 40 up to 80 without it starting,Is there anything I’m overlooking? I’ve also gone through the finished maps (which are on the website)

Have you calibrated your Throttle and APS? Your manifold pressure looks a little off. What sensor are you using?
also how is your fuel pump connected?

Firstly i think is still not enough fuel started on cranking as soon as went to after start die. Other thing is you shouldn’t expect that your car will idle straight away once started you should adjust ve map while on the throttle.
so as soon as start try to keep it running with the throttle
another things on first start I suggest run lambda a without rpm so you have rough idea what the mixture just after starting (tick box enable heater without rpm)

still no start update.
have tried slowly increasing the values.first in
volumetric efficiency second in volume correction and then in after start
and now has lambda in log ,see log for value,
ignition timing is controlled and have a question, cam sensor calculates box itself its position!! because I haven’t found any adjustment option so I assumed it would figure it out on its own and have searched all the forums and manuals without an answer,
I’m really running out of suggestions and energy, hope someone will take the time to delve into the data.

trigger is fine not a problem there. what is strange for me that’s sometimes revs too 1200 rpm … when does that sounds good?
you can try invert phase also and try that.
have you verified trigger angle ? with timing lamp ? as sometimes i can see map sensor spike so is like either massively to lean or ignition angle is not correct.

got it started now, :grinning:
primary sensor set to rising, secondary sensor turned off and ignition set to wasted spark and it started.
then secondary was also set to rising and back to sequential and can also run with that setup
