In this post, I’d like to gather your feedback on how we can improve the GUI, enhance the functionality of the Windows client, improve logging, and so on.

I offer some things:

Favorite group for often use tables and etc. at the top of the parameters panel. I would like to pick VE table, Ign table and may be some curves to fast use it during the tune.

Improve the Graph Log with opportunity to change style of viewing of parameters: Classic - as now with 2 channels in 1 chart. Advanced - One chart with plenty of parameters as in Data Master (colors may be random or selected by user)
Also an opportunity to Delete before cursor, or after cursor at RMB in menu. It may be in group “Edit log” and inside several parameters: Delete before, Delete after, Crop to selection, etc.

Add to Tune display the third bar with Short term trim with 0 at the center.

Add an opportunity to use AFR instead of Lambda. (It includes to add a channel in Log graph with AFR Target and in settings may be a parameter change what I want to see - Lambda or AFR)
I’m not sure that it about GUI, but it is visible kind - why boost not in absolute pressure? Always try to not confuse MAP or BOOST i would like to set.

During live tuning with the car I have hard time spotting the place of Where the center of the cross is on the table. I would like to be more visible. (Only one of the few things i liked from the maxx ecu GUI)

- One other difficult thing to fix is the emu software uses the battery of the laptops a little bit more than usual (?) (i havent had much use with V3 so i dont know if it improved ). if its the realtime logging of the ecu data in the laptop, i prefer to have data in hand so its ok…
Append log function: currently can only select one log file at a time. It would be handy to be able to hold CTRL and select more than one log file.
There is an append option in log window (you can add new log at the end of the previous). Or maybe do you mean to have 2 logs and compare them ?
According battery usage I will try to profile the software according that. For sure displaying logs (especially zoomed out) can drain battery faster. However in V3 there are some improvemetns in log drawing so it should help. Also lowering refreshing rate of log window would help (as an option). For OLED displays dark mode is a game changer in battery usage.
Say you drive for a week and want to use auto tune to check VE table over a long averaging period of 10 logs, would be good to open day 1, click append, CTRL select all others off edl1 and add to end of current log in one go.
Currently it’s add one at a time.

The 2d map also not highly visible, but specifically for 3D tables.
This crosshair while in the car is difficult to see. imagine you are not on your 27" desktop you are on a 15" laptop while shaking in the car.

My main complaint is that I can’t use my scroll wheel to scroll in each tab/page window - I have to use the bar at the right-hand side of the screen.

Notes
I often wish there were an option to add notes directly to individual calibration windows.
I would expect this to work similarly to the Help feature: when I open a calibration window, I can click the question-mark icon to display the relevant help. It would be useful to have a similar button for notes.
For example, notes could be used to record why a function was calibrated in a particular way or which calibration settings have already been tested.
You are right that this information can be recorded externally, but it would be much more convenient to have it readily available in the relevant calibration window.
Calibration changes
I like the way the software indicates changed parameters using bold text.
Sometimes, however, it would also be useful to see the direction of the change—whether the new value is higher or lower than the original value.
I noticed that changed parameters are currently marked with a yellow triangle in the corner. It would be helpful if the colour of this triangle indicated the direction of the change—for example:
- Blue when the new value is higher
- Red when the new value is lower
This is a bug. The white background shows when you disable min/max flags on the log.
It is already fixed for next build.

I never noticed, in windows 11 i made the window scroll bar wider from regedit because microsoft wants to make our lives more difficult with every new windows version
Make it as much like Pro as possible
Should be doable for the dark mode
No pro is very bad, i would stop using emu if they do that like pro
