Steering Wheel Sensor works fine. Do you can help me with the coding?
yeah but as i mentioned afterstart target rpm doesnt work
Could you provide log and your base map ? It should work with any Idle air control valve.
Is your Active state airflow properly set up ?
played around with it. did not change anything
Please show you base map and log with idle after start.
20241001_1922.emublog3 (203.4 KB)
startup.emub3 (60.4 KB)
Did lot of testing
The failure appears when I set at engine protection check light any random report on
Your Idle Active state airflow table is totally wrong.
On the Y axis you need to have the full RPM scale you want to use during idle (eg. up to 2500 RPM).
The higher target RPM the DC must be highe.
The colder engine the DC must be higher.
To create this table you need set different targets and adjust DC to obtain the required target.
Also monitor Idle ignition correction to be as low as possible.
This table is a key for proper idle control
It works exactly the way it is. But what dies this have to do with a afterstart raise that won’t work?
We raised the dc on lowest rpm to prevent a rpm drop due to less rotating masses
If you request target 2500 it will take DC from 1000 RPM as it is the highest value in your table.
So it will not increase the RPM over 1000 RPM.
You use this table not in the way it should be used.
i understand but as you see it does not even nearly 1000
Because your target increase table is also wrong:
CLT on your log is 19deg, you defined RPM increase of 1000 when the CLT is 90 and 0 if lower.
Help for this table:
This table allows for adjusting the desired idle speed after engine startup. On the X-axis, we have the time since engine startup, and on the Y-axis, we have the coolant temperature. Increasing the idle speed after engine startup should be higher for lower coolant temperatures, and it should decrease to 0 as the engine runtime progresses.
Ok the 1000 must be a typo. I will test around. Thx.
I will investigate this.
Could you provide me more information ? I did analyze the code and dbc files and cannot find the connection between check light and esp fail.
The only option I can see is that ESP stops to work when the check engine lamp is lit, but it was never reported before.
Car is very exotic
It is a t5 Multivan 3,2 v6T with t5 facelift DQ500 and MK25E1 ( only 2007-2009 fitted)
(I know just 1 other car with this setup, this runs fine with v2 but I didn’t know if these options are active there)
What else do you want to know? Do you want remote access?
I just need to know what check engine code causes the issue.
There are in reality 4 potential problems: CLT, IAT, DBW or any code.
You can simualte CLT and IAT errors by disabling pullup in sensors configuration.
Did you already found the Solution?
Martin disabled check engine reportingand it helps.
Sorry for late reply
I tried every single check box, every time this failure appears
