Is it normal for the VVT outputs to be flicking on and off without the engine running? I noticed it when checking the state of another output.
If you watch the circled field you see the output names momentarily appear, can also be seen on the log as red marks…

It is known issue, already fixed for the next version.
It looks like an bug. I will check it.
Idle has separate ignition angle control.
According “reset” it is a feature. Some subsystems are initialized then.
According EMU BLACK CAN stream it is idea how it will be implemented.
Probably another CAN ID will be used to add more data.
There is a channel tc dRPM raw, that consist RPM rate.
You can use it (however you need to enable TC with RPM based strategy)
We are not aware about any issue with the boost controller.
If you send me a base map and a log I can take a look.

Is it possible to not reset the WBO? I mean, its was quite useful on seq.injection to turn on/off twice injection to dial up dead time very fast.

Can you check if primepulse and after start enrichment works as shoud? I not see any primepulse PW spike in logs even i set it 20ms+ and logged afterstart % is less then what i set in table (values over 100%…)
Whit the WBO reset it should be doable.
Primepuls PW you can observe only on EMU scope.
Just start the scope and crank the engine.

Hi, also tried to import v2 map, but also not possible.
Is there any reason why it is not possible to use ignition outputs for boost valve (n75). At classic software it was possible to use ignition outputs.

I also noticed something with the MAP channel on my logs from the EMU stream, it now appears to be a different format?
Hello after some time its time to bring some report again.
- First I would like to mention that since 3.041 BT its not wotking.
- Second in GUI, when tiping search function is activated ater typing one letter its starts to search.
So it takes so long when I want to look for the word. Each letter is waitign.
Would be hreat if SW will let me write my idea and atrer that starts to look for it. - Is there any descripton how measurement channels are calculated ? For example how do I reach for example “High CAM1 input level”.
Then I didn´t get from the manual how CamSync works. To be specifiic, I didn´t get the diference between following settings:

One tooth (which I am using on my engine) and which DOESN´T WORK and it should!

Shorter than factor - which works well but I have no idea why.
Both SW settings are using the same HW setup which is measured down bellow via osciloscope.

- What do you use for BT comm ? EDL or BT CAN ? We have tested EDL with the version 3.044 and everything works correct.
- I will check what is possible.
- Accroding cam synchronisation in 3.044 there is a help for cam synchronisetion added (below the picture with the begining of the help). In short when the camsync occurs the next gap on the wheel is the beginning of the cycle. What is strange on your scopes the camsync pulse appears in different places. Once after the gap and once before the gap. Is there VVTi ?
The injection and ignition is synced to the primary trigger tooth not a tooth on cam. The tooth only shows the engine phase.
For black it is a little more complicated.
I can add Ign output but if you have active coils the output for any ignition output is 9V@100mA. So in this case it is not possible to control boost solenoid.
To do that you need to add external transistor.
With the passive coils selected it will switch to ground with the high current so it is ok.
There were some issues in EMU CAN stream in version 3.044 due to optimisations, already fixed for 3.045

with regards to boost control, in the previous versions you could find two pages of DC_REF#1 & 2, on the V3 there is no longer this option, with the previous option I could set two boost controller profiles. Can this still be done?
For boost profile you use Boost target. Boost DC defines the DC for required targetm and there is no reason to have two DC tables.
