Paddle shift setup

Hi everyone.

As a newbie to the EcuMaster community, I’m working on a hill climb prototype with a 2025 GSXR 1000 engine fitted with an EmuPro 8. I’ve installed a paddle shifter kit on the pneumatic steering wheel controlled by two solenoid valves connected to the H-Bridge outputs. Do you have any experience with this setup? Excuse my Google translation. I’m from France.

I also wanted to configure paddle shift with my emu pro.
I was told that it’s not supported yet.

Hi Théo!

EMU PRO has a very advanced paddle shift system with several stages.

Go to Drivetrain / Gearbox / Type and choose Sequential paddle-shift. Then go to Gear shift / Actuator outputs. There you can set the outputs for each solenoid.

You can find a short description of the stages in the help menu (press F1) in Drivetrain / Gearbox / Gear shift.

Also check Drivetrain / Gearbox / Gear shift / State. I recommend setting the logging frequency for this channel to 500 Hz.

OK - I misunderstood. I thought Manual shifting an automatic trans is paddle shifting also. I didn’t consider the case of operating an air shifter or other means. Sorry about that!
