R32 Golf Cam Settings

Car: R32 BUB

I have problems with my vvt. Adjusted as follows: unplugged the plug and set the offset until I was at 0 degrees in the log. Plugged it back in and took it for a test drive. Exhaust shaft barely moves. The inlet shaft, on the other hand, works in exactly the opposite direction. Does anyone recognize my problem? Both ran in V2.


What do your Cam Angle Tables look like?

I didn’t use the outlet on v2. The values ​​are currently only used as a test.

My tables are configured different, but your settings are all basically the same as mine with the exceptions of the offset values. The PID, Digital configuration and Trigger settings are all the same. Not sure why you are experiencing issues. perhaps take it for a good drive and log it, then add the logs and config file here so it can be reviewed.

If your cams are moving in the wrong direction, do you have the outputs switched maybe?

Issues trying to start my R32t with V3, I created the new map very similar with what I have on V2 but no start. Not sure where is my issue. I tried to upload the V3 map in here for your review but I does not allow me to. Will appreciate if anybody wants to share a base map.

My ignition parameters are set up as follow,

Primary trigger: Toothed wheel with 2 missing theeth, Falling
Secondary trigger: N+, risisng
CAM 2: Primary teeth window, rising
Firing order: 1,5,3,6,2,4 w. invert phase
Ignition output matching firing order

I run BUB with pnp adapter, any advice will be appreciate.

Thanks for the quick reply, are this settings the same for BFH R32 mk4 engines?
The reason I ask you is because I just found out that my engine code is BFH, I thought it was BUB. Thanks for your help.

yes both the same. mk5 just needs a pwm signal for the coolant fan
